Erlaubt ist was gefällt.

One big goal beside fun and beautiful lenght pictures for our weekend was to do one braid on all the girls for an awesome group shot. As you can see not all the girls had arrived when we did this. All braids were done by Heike and me. This was just the perfect thing to do on a lazy afternoon to enjoy the wonderful weather. Everybody is wearing a woven fishtail braid with different accent braids. You can find rope, fishtail or english braids and even flat four strand braids. Permitted was everything we liked.

You can find even more pictures of the braids on haselnussblond, echtandrea and growbeyondyourlimits.

Heike did my braid and I did hers. But I have to add that my accent braids were done by Andrea and Yasemin – english and fishtail braids. For the braid on Heike I decided to do loose and messy pancaked rope braids.

Furthermore I did the three braids in the top picture and the one on the bottom right. For the accent braids I loved heart shaped pancaked english braids and rope braids.

You will probably recognize this pose. It has somehow become my signature pose. It started as a fun way to make somehow different braid pictures and now people think of me when they see someone doing this pose with a braid. That’s so cool. And indeed I like this pose because it makes the braid seem even longer and – to be a little proud – your braid has to have a certain lenght for it. Ok, not totally true. If you hold your hand higher you can do it even with a short braid.
