Sometimes you have these spontaneous ideas. This one was one of them. On my way home from work I though I could do something about the Oktoberfest. I mean, I live in Bavaria and beside that, the so called Wiesn is known almost everywhere. Why didn’t I do something like this the years before? As it starts on Saturday there wasn’t much time left for me. Typically you wear leather trousers or a dirndl to a beer tent and braided hairstyles are a perfect match. Of course you can wear any hairstyle I have shown you here, but this one should become something more special.

I have come across this kind of hairstyles several times the last time, especially on Facebook. But always made from someone on someone else’s head. That was like a challenge for me, it must be possible to do this on my own head. Braiding all kind of braids is no problem for me, that comes with the amount of practice I have. But pinning all my hair in a nice shaped bun in a way so you still can see all the braiding was bit of a challenge. So I tried this and that and in the end it came out like this. In total three braids, two of them made as lace braids from my forehead, one rope braid and some loosely pinned hair rolls. I would have loved to decorate this with pearl, but I don’t have any at the moment. So I took this little roses. But I also made a picture without them afterwards.

Of course I’m wearing a dirndl with this hairstyle. I got this several years ago and still love to wear it every now and then.

What about you? Are you going to the Oktoberfest or to a comparable event? I prefer smaller events and usually stay away from the Oktoberfest.

By the way, combined with a dirndl I also wear unpinned classics, but that’s the only way. Otherwise I always feel too much like a little girl.
