I know my braids are thick, or at least thicker then the braids of most others. Just because I have a lot of hair. But how does it look if you pacake this braid? I have showed you examples twice, once with a dutch braid, once with an english braid. But in both cases the braid could have been even thicker. This time it was Heike’s turn to make my braid really big without any further helpers. The hairstyle was a dutch fishtail. Indeed I hadn’t worn it myself until then. It always takes so much time to do a fishtail. But here I did not have to braid and we had a lot of fun while braiding.swinging my braid

Now I’m complaining on a very high level. There were just too many beautiful pictures of this braid so you have to watch the same hairstyle over and over again. The first picture above is beautiful because of the movement and the light of the setting sun. On the next I like the perspective from above. Makes the braid look even thicker and my waist even smaller 😉 And of course I like pictures with beautiful backlighting.

Before Heike braided this monster braid on me I did the dragon tail braid on her. This one took at least as long as the fishtail because I was so cerfully with the silicone hair ties. And those tiny accent braids always take so much time.Dragon Tail Braid and Dutch Fishtailbraid

To come to an end one final picture, just because I think it is so pretty because I like the shades of green and the lightning. And sometimes this is all you need. What do you say about this huge pancaked braid? Are you already sick of all the stuff from our weekend or are you still enjoying it? Amazing what we all made up in so little time. There is still more to come!Picture taken by haselnussblond - beautiful light!
