Habt ihr bei Heike schonmal gesehen was ein Parandi ist? Kurz gesagt Wolle zum in den Zopf einflechten. Sie hat eine Anleitung zum selbermachen und wie man es einflechtet. Schaut mal vorbei falls es euch interessiert.

Schon lange wollte ich das mal ausprobieren. Vor allem weil ich so gerne einen klassisch langen Flechtzopf hätte, das heißt den Haargummi unterhalb des Pos. Dafür müsste ich meine Haare aber noch lange wachsen lassen. Statt solange zu warten habe ich mir ein extra langes Parandi gemacht. Offen ist es fast bodenlang. Eingeflochten gibt das einen Flechtzopf der etwa bis mitte Oberschenkel geht (die Perspektive auf dem Bild täuscht etwas). Ein verrücktes Gefühl und natürlich etwas ungewohnt. Leider ist der Teil aus Wolle etwas steifer als normales Haar. Dafür ist der Zopf im Nacken wirklich wahnsinnig dick!

Die Farben sind im Haar leider auch nicht ganz optimal, es war eine Wolle mit verschiedenen Farben von dunkelbraun über hellbraun bis weiß. Das braun fügt sich gut ins Haar ein, fast zu gut, denn so sticht das weiß besonders heraus. Ich werde bei Gelegenheit noch dunkelbraune Wolle besorgen.

Für meinen nächsten Versuch habe ich aber schon welche da und zwar in grün und petrol, bin schon sehr gespannt! Die werden dann wohl etwas kürzer als das hier und auch bald hier vorgestellt!

Zopf mit Parandi

I wanted to try this for a long time. Especially because I would love to have a braid with classic lenght. But it will take a long time until my hair is long enough for this. Instead of waiting I made myself a extra long parandi. Unbraided it almost reaches the floor. As a braid it ends between classic and knee lenght (the picture doesn’t show it right).  A crazy feeling. Unfortunately the part made of wool is a bit inflexible compared to normal hair. But can you see how thick the braid is in the neck?

The colour isn’t optimal, it’s a wool with different colours from brown to light brown to white. The brown fits my hair quite good and this makes the white even more eye catching. I will go and fetch some dark brown wool the next days.

My next try will be with green and petrol wool wich I have already bought. They will be a bit shorter – I will show you soon!
